Welcome to First Baptist The
Church on Main Street. Your worship experience can begin the moment
you enter the quietness of the sanctuary. Use this time to set aside
the stresses of your life as you quiet your heart before the God who
created you, the One who knows what you need even before you ask.
The Vision
That the Holy Spirit, working in us, will help us:
Discover fresh, new ways to convey by word and deed God’s
amazing love;
Design worship that invites personal involvement of members
and guests alike;
Create possibilities for people to have deep and lasting
relationships;
Provide models of what it means to follow Jesus in today’s
world;
Develop opportunities for people to work together in service
and love; and
That the Holy Spirit, working in me, will help me:
Encounter God’s love in ways that make sense not only of my
life, but of all life;
Respond personally to God’s amazing love through praise,
thanksgiving and adoration;
Connect to other people in ways that foster my personal
growth and development;
Follow Jesus by becoming more like him in my thoughts and
actions;
Experience the joy of seeing my life make the world a better

schedule will begin Sunday, June 7 at 10:30 a.m. in
our Sanctuary. Plan to join us for diversified worship experiences
and to "Brown-Bag-It" in the Parlor immediately following the
